When a long time customer of RollingStock met with us to discuss options for his latest daily driver – the brief was quite simple.
The Audi RS7 wheels needed to give the car the masculine look that it lacked from the factory.
The Audi RS7 wheels also needed to be created at a size that would only improve the dynamics of the car – not hamper them.
Lastly, the Audi RS7 wheels HAD to be unique in design and perfectly blend in with the red and black theme of the car.
The performance oriented gran-tourer focus of the car meant that the lightweight monoblock offering from Strasse Forged was the series of wheel that we would go for. It made perfect sense!
Being a single piece construction, the monoblock series is the lightest in the range and still offers the amazing deep concave design that Strasse has fast become famous for. The sharp lines of the SM5R were a simple choice for this client and together we pieced together the gorgeous satin black finish with some Misano Red highlights to tie the wheels into the rest of the car.
The photos are amazing – but do not do this machine the justice that it deserves. The car holds significant road presence and is consistently becoming a crowd favorite wherever it appears!
